It appears to me that the largest Canadian story may be Vitamin D deficiency , seasonal Affectiveness disorder and depression. Cabin fever may have a solution.

Any commnets and I'm in Toronto

This being the International Year of Astronomy, 2009, why is it that once again we are doing the exact opposite, of the right thing to do?

The Dunlap Observatory and Parkland should be conserved as the last bastion of Greenspace in the already overbuilt Town of Richmond Hill.

The manner in which this entire matter has been handled, and continues to handled, boggles the mind.

Sadly, the answer appears to lie, as always, in the money trail......................

Many thanks to all the Veterans of Canadian Armed Forces. The world is a better place through your sacrifice. As an American Veteran, I have always had great respect for Canada and its Veterans. Visiting many of the Commonwealth Graves Commission Cemeteries has taught me the meaning of sacrifice and respect for the dead. I owe a debt to the Unknown Soldier of Canada. I try to be a better person with all of our Veterans in mind as a guide.

The silver lining of this affair: U of T is teaching all the families concerned with the fate of the DDO a very important lesson: never, ever gift a university, for someone there is waiting to turn valuable art or anything that would be precious to future generations into cash.

As a much more casual but decades long observer of our feathered friends in central Ontario, I cannot support the notion of an appreciable decline in the number and variety of oiseaux.
